Movie Day with Mama

On 5th Dec 2010 is a very memorable day for me. This is cuz mama accompany me to watch movie which is very rare from her since very long time ago.

I told mama that I wanted to watch cartoon -Rapunzel (since young, mama exposed me to Disney cartoon. I got a collection of Disney`s cartoons like Pocahontas-which i watched it with mama during standard 4,Hercules - watched with dad, Aladdin-watched with mama and papa,Lion King,The Mermaid etc). I told mama that nobody gona watch with me cuz couz will be working , friends not fancy cartoon and Woofy not here. So mama was like " OK. I go watch with u" Then i was like " Really? But i want to watch 3D version." Mama said " OK. Check the time and let me know" I was so happy. Mama dont really like to watch movie in cinema cuz of the expensive movie ticket and now she said ok to accompany me and watch 3D. Whhhheee~~~

So, 5th Dec is the day we went to movie and watched the 1130am show. After movie, we went to walk around and buy stuffs which totaled up to RM80++. Kekeke...Happy day!!!

BUT, Rapunzel-Tangled is really a very nice cartoon. Way too nice and the 3D is so convincing this time. Nice graphic, nice story line, nice soundtrack. Love it...

It made me laugh and cry. Its been a long time since i cried during watching a cartoon. Im so going to buy the DVD and watch it all over again minus the 3D thou.Kekekek...

~ Once in a blue moon ~

I`ve just finished an old japanese drama, "With Love" staring handsome (then) Yutaka Takenouchi. He`s so handsome at that time but not so now. maybe aged abit d. =P But still that good looking thou. If my memory served me right, I first watched it on TV3 6pm every Saturday and Sunday. Cant remember how old i was that time.

Anyway, it`s a love story where 2 people met online and fell in love. Hmm...I guessed the virtual online dating started since then? Hehe...

The sypnosis of this drama :

It all started when Hasegawa Takashi (Yutaka Takenouchi), a talented composer who could not write a love song ever since his girlfriend Lena left him suddenly, accidentally sent an uncompleted piece of his latest work to Murakami Amane (Misato Tanaka) via email. Deeply touched by his music, Amane wrote back to him, without getting a reply. Amane continued writing to him, pouring out her thoughts. Only when she signed as "Teru Teru Bozu", did Takashi responded with a mail saying "WHO ARE YOU?", because what Lena left him as a farewell gift was a teru teru bozu!

I love the soundtrack of this drama esp the theme song "Destiny" by My Little Lover and "Once in a blue moon".

Been to cinema quite frequent ever since my best buddy came back from KL for his break...We went to cinema almost every 3 dayz...

The 1st movie that we watched was Sherlock Holmes. Actually, we wanted to watch Avatar 3D but the tickets for all the slots was sold out. Then, we thought of watching The Bodyguard and Assassin. However, tickets also sold out. So, we changed it to Sherlock.


The movie is not that bad thou. In my opinion, its abit illogical lo. Cuz, Sherlock is so genius. He`s more hebat than those CSI people. He knows what kind of mud or sand by just touching it. Hehe...

My rating : 3.5 /5 (should be higher if minus the illogical part)

The 2nd movie was Alvin and The Chipmunks : The Squeakquel. I enjoyed this movie cuz the chipmunks are so cute. Cuteness overdose. Haha.

My rating : 4/5

Then, followed by our much awaited Avatar 3D on Monday. Waited 2 weeks for this movie. ZZZZZ...Need I say more? Hehe

My rating : 5/5 (really like this)

We went to watch The Imaginarium of Dr Panarssus on Wednesday. Haha. We`re sucha movie goer. Hmm. This movie is a fantasy film which is kinda complicated if you don`t understand the plot. Sumore the movie lasted for 2hrs plus. Abit long thou.

Hint : do read the synopsis before you go watch this movie.

My rating : 2.5/5 (the movie is not that bad, with great casting but its abit too hard for my understanding)

Oh ya, I also went to watch The Princess and the Frog with my cousin before Xmas. This is not your typical Disney fairytale but me and my cousin enjoy every bits of it.

Our next movie on our list is Cirque du Freak: The Vampire`s Assistant. Going watch it this Wednesday, Movie Day. Haha..

I See You...

To those who watched "Avatar" will know what Im talking about....

After 2 weeks of unsuccessful attempts to buy the 3D tickets for the show, I finally able to get the ticket for y`day show. The ticket for the show was sold out for everyday and every show. Its so hard to buy 1. You even need to buy the ticket 1 week ahead.

But, after watched the movie, I finally knew why it sold out. IT IS THAT AWESOME. I love every minute of the movie and enjoyed myself. I watched it with my best buddy. He`s nice enough to watch it again with me even though he watched the 2D before.

The graphic, animation, songs everything is so perfect. Watch it if you guys havent watch the movie. Watch the 3D 1. You wont regret of paying RM17 for it.

I dont mind watching it again. It became my favorite movie now.

In every movie, you will learn something from it. Thats what they called the moral of the story. In this movie, I did learn something. That most human are selfish and they do care for themselves only. But, there are some that are willing to sacrifice for the name of LOVE. Besides, I learn to appreciate what i have and things around me.

Drama review : EU (學警狙擊)

Phewww.... Finally I`ve finished watching the 30 episodes long of EU (學警狙擊) which is the 3rd installments after 2005`s The Academy (學警雄心) and 2nd installment 2007`s On The First Beat (學警出更). With the main cast starring Ron Ng, and Sammual Chan from the original series and adding new cast such as Michael Miu, Micheal Tse, Kathy Chow and also singer-cum-actress, Elanne Kong.

In my opinion, the show stealer definitely went to the performance of Tse's character, Laughing. He is so popular among the drama or EU`s fans especially since *SPOILER AHEAD*

Laughing Gor died in episode 22 where fans actually created a facebook group to mourn over his loss. I even cried when watching that scene.

The ending especially episode 29 and 30 is exceptionally interesting and exciting. But with some flaws towards the end but still good. To those who want to know, its a rather open ending with a room for 4th installment coming up. (Confirmed there will be a 4th installment)

Its been sometime since TVB drama give me the anticipation to catch every single episode since Moonlight Resonance. Give this drama a try, its worth it...Hehe...

Anyway, this is the synopsis i extract from Wikipedia...

After ten years behind the bars in Taiwan, Kong Sai-Hao (Michael Miu) finally returns to Hong Kong. Other than the hope to find his daughter Yau-Yau (Elaine Kong) to mend their relationship, he also plans for revenge. On one hand, he pretends to surrender to triad boss To Yik-Tin (Lam Lee), the man who caused him to be jailed. On the other hand, he tries to gain trust from police officers Chung Lap-Man (Ron Ng) and Lee Pak-Kiu (Sammul Chan). Lee refuses to have a criminal as his friend, but Chung becomes close to Kong to gain inside information about To's activities. To keeps a close watch on Kong but purposely shows that he trusts Laughing (Michael Tse) more and intentionally puts him in a high position, but Kong uses To's wife Ching Yeuk-Sam (Kathy Chow) in the organization as an influence to help Kong rise up the ranks. To is killed and Kong ascends to become the head of the triad. Later, Chung becomes an official undercover agent for the police force with the intention of exposing Kong's triad crimes. He isolates himself from Lee in order to protect his undercover identity.

Just when Kong thought that he was in control, his drug business fails. Kong discovers that the people he trusted the most had betrayed, tricked and used him.

The last 2 days of 2008...

...we celebrated it with Bosco Wong, an actor turn singer from Hong Kong. He was in town for a small gig on d 30th of December. The show start at 9pm and he is really punctual. Not bad for a celebrity.

His actual purpose was to promote his new album and he sang two songs there and also sign autograph. Below are the pictures from that day :

After the show, me and my cousin went near to the backstage to have a glimpse of him and I manage to shake his hand. Gosh, his hand`s so smooth. Smoother than me. =P Haha...

Then on the New Year eve, Bosco was at Queensbay Mall for the countdown and we`re there too. Stalking him,perhaps? Hehe...

Counldnt see too clear of him cause there were too many people and we stand real far from the stage. Abit disappointed. Hmmmm...

Well, after the countdown, we`re heading back to the parking space and my cousin called me. She said Bosco was at the Kim Gary having some supper. After some thinking, I made the decision and straight heading to Kim Gary with my mum and Woofy where we saw him there having interviews.

Woohoo....currently Astro channel 311 WLT is re-airing my all time favorite drama "Journey To The West (part 1)"

So happy...I`ve been watching the drama over and over again for countless of times and I even can remember their dialogue...Even my mum is annoyed with me..=P

I still remember the first time I watched the drama is when Im 13 and my dad even rent it for me to watch...Since then, I never failed to watched it whenever TV is showing the drama or my relatives` rent the drama...

And, guess what, my dad even bought the DVD set for me - a complete set with part 2...But i don`t like to watch the part2 cause I like Dicky Cheung who act The Monkey God in the 1st part more...He`s the reason i watch the drama...keke...Been a little fans of him since small...

Love the tag line of his ~~ Yo, watch drama, sai mat keng arrrr!!~~ HAHAHAHA...Crazy d me....=P

On a side note, I tried to make my own mashed potato after being inspired by DD. Hmmm, on my first attempt, i don`t think i did very well cause i did not use the mixer to mash the potatoes and resulted a not so smooth texture...

Will try to make the gravy tonite for dinner and will see how it goes...

A rather weird weekend !!!

Last weekend was the F1 week which was held at Sepang, KL. But, instead of like the usual last 2 years of watching the race over there, Im watching at home. It just feel so weird for me. The uumphh was not there. No fun at all.

What more, my hero 2007 F1 world champion, Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari won the race and Im not there to see his handsome face. Wasted !!! Urrgghhhh!!!! But Im happy that he actually won the race after his maiden victory at the very same track 5 years ago. So, hooray for Kimi. =)

But, on the race day itself, I did not watch the live race on tv. Instead, I went to Queensbay with my dad and mum and with my cousin. Me and my cousin went to watch movie while my dad n mum went to "pak-tor" while waiting for us to finish our movie. Hehe.

My and my cousin went to watch this movie called Dr. Seuss` Horton Hears Who.

This movie is about Horton the elephant who hears a small speck talking to him and the small speck is actually a tiny city called the "Who-ville",inhabited by microscopic-sized inhabitants known as Whos. And it showed how Horton tried to save them and protect them from harm. Its a very nice and funny movie. Must watch it if you havent. (geez, im sucks at giving preview)

Anyway, after watching the movie, we went on to find my dad n mum. As we went down to the groundfloor, we saw this !!!!

1 !!!which means, this is the 2007 world champion F1 car that was driven by Kimi Raikkonen and its the very car that won last year championship.

Its not that bad after that i did not attend the Sepang race. Hehe.

Im Enchanted by Enchanted

Aiyo, really out-dated laa. Thats because I just watched this movie after it started screening few months back (November, i think).

Just like the title - Enchanted. Im really enchanted by the movie itself. Just fell in love with the movie. Maybe cause i fancy this kinda movie because i do believe in happily ever after. Hehe. Princessy movie, i like. Walt Disney never fail to make sucha nice movies. Every movies that they produce are worth to watch. Love the story line and also the music.



Love this song so much. Hope you like it too. =)

Disney Live!

As mentioned before, we went to the Disney Live! Mickey`s Magic Show on the 3rd of Nov at PISA, Penang . Due to my " big head prawn" attitude, i forgot to post something bout it. =P

I asked permission from Woofy to get the tickets 1 day after the ad was out which on the 5th of Sept and i bought it on the 6th of Sept. Keke... 2 months before the show...

We`re not allow to take any pictures once we`re in the auditorium cuz according to the people in charged, by taking pictures, those magic will be revealed. 0.O is that possible? I dunno lo.. But we tried to take picture inside the auditorium but was caught by them and was asked to keep the camera away. So embarrassing.

We just managed to take some pictures at the outside of the auditorium which was reserved for the organizers to sell their merchandises.

Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari F1 team has won the world champion title after 6th years into his career...After sucha long wait, his wish finally came true...

So happy for him as a fans....Hahahaha...=P

It was a great race too....so suspense thru out the whole race....Ahhhh...so relieve now..n i cant sleep now...too happy...=D

Touching...

Ever watch a movie(s) that makes you cry over it over and over again? Or rather said, is there any movie(s) that makes you felt touching?


Well, i was watching this chines movie called Fly Me To Polaris aka 星願 on ntv7 last night. Its my-dunno-how-many-times re-run show but still its one of my favourite movie of all times. And i`ll still shed a few tears towards the end.

The plot focuses on the character Onion who became blind and mute during his childhood. Onion works at a hospital and gets to know the nurse Autumn. Onion asks Autumn out on a date and when she says yes, he is so happy that he trips over a rock and is run over by a car. The death of Onion made Autumn realize that she was really deeply in love with him.

Because he was the 60 billionth to die in heaven, Onion is granted a wish. He wishes to return to Earth for 5 days, since that is the longest he is allowed to go back. Unfortunately the rules stipulate that he cannot tell anyone who he really is and that, at the same time, that he will be not be recognized as Onion himself by his former friends.

Upon returning to Earth, Onion tries to talk to Autumn, who is upset over his death. He tries to tell her who he really is but can't without breaking the rules, and finds her being wooed by a doctor. He wastes a few days trying to tell her but finally gives up and makes the most of the time he has with her.

At the end of the week, she realizes that he is Onion. But by that time, there are only few minutes left until the meteor showers, flying him back to Polaris.

After watching this movie, it gave me some "education" which are:

Never take things for granted ; Treasure and appreciate every single moment of your life ; Live life to the fullest; Be happy with what you have and etc.

Astro On Demand

Was watching this show called "The Drive of Life" on Astro channel 931. There`s a new range of channels which show this program - from channel 930 to 937.

Astro`s currently doing a promotion where they air the 1st 5 episodes for free but for the next episodes onwards, users will need to subscribe them for RM0.99 for Dynasty subscribers and RM1.49 for non-Dynasty Subscribers.

They aired the 1st episode today (16th July). Hmmm, 1st impression...Not bad wor...Kinda interesting.

My mum was interested in the drama too. She`s like keen to subscribe to the package. Kekeke...i hope she will cuz i wana watch too...=P

Pirate Master

I watched this reality show called the "Pirate Master" last Tuesday which was their premier show on Astro channel 17 at 9pm. If you watched "Survivor" before, you`ll find that the concept are almost if not identical.

This is because, "Pirate Master" is a show created by Mark Burnett who is also the creator of the popular reality show "Survivor".

This show goes like this....

Each week, the contestants are divided into two crews, Black and Red, to hunt for the treasure indicated by the maps and clues obtained from the most recently opened compartment on the Chest of Zanzibar.

Both crews simultaneously go on expeditions and decipher clues along the way to find gold coins hidden around the island of Dominica. During the expedition, there is the potential for the currently leading crew (based on the trailing member of the team) to "sabotage" the other crew at a given point and slow them down in the hunt, such as by causing a net to fall to block passage along a river.

The first crew to successfully retrieve the treasure, even if another crew arrived and started searching first, wins the treasure, and indicates their victory by firing a pistol to let the other crew know that the expedition is over.

At the end of each episode, there is a Pirates' Court. Prior to this Court's proceedings, the Captain distributes letters, three of which contain a black ink blot also called as the black spot.The three contestants marked with a "black spot" are the ones nominated to be voted off and cannot take part in the voting process that follows; the Captain and his officers are not allowed to vote either. The remaining crew members then cast their votes by impaling their ballots on an upturned dagger. The contestant with the most votes is then "cut adrift" also known as being voted off.

Overall, its not bad for the 1st show. Kinda interesting. Im not sure bout the repeat time but I do know that the show aired every Tuesday at 9pm at AXN channel 17. Gees, makes me miss those days where I followed the "Survivor" weekly. Its my favourite show during those times.
