Upcoming gadget target!

A week back, Meowy posted something on my fb wall. I saw it, and I chuckled. Rupa-rupanya she wanted a new gadget.. Haha... And interestingly, I myself like the gadget very much too! Oh well, this is what we want to get as our newcomer in our gadget list:

The latest, most stylish, most powerful, most sexy (this 1 actually reserved for meowy only hehe), most over spec-ed Android phone in the world -- Samsung Galaxy S II.

Ok. It looks almost quite similar than its predecessor, but, BUT, it has a much much much more powerful spec than Galaxy S. Dual Core processor, SUPER AMOLED Plus screen, 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, and best of all, it uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Although I hope for 3.0 Honeycomb wahahaha).

Speaking of this, we actually intended to get Galaxy S during early this year, but instead we got the Wave. It is a nice phone, but the only hiccup is the OS, which is Samsung's own developed Bada OS. It lacks the popularity of iOS and Android, thus less apps, less fun. But most importantly, I promised Meowy before to get her an Android, so this will be one to fulfill my promise to her.

So far, only Maxis has bundled package for S II, and it had an overwhelming response - totally out of stock nationwide just 1-2 days after the launch! Hmm, now waiting for Digi to launch it, hope can get it as soon as possible!

Hmmm....I received this email from my cousin.

It read like this:

Coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5days). During this time the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days. It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 yrs . We ' re very lucky to see this.

Can this happened? We`ll see.

Crocs anyone?

I have a friend and she is a Crocs die hard fan. From owning the shoes to working at a Crocs` shop as salesperson. Die hard innit? Hehe.

Then, 1 day, I saw her taking out something which is kinda cute. She bought this to add to her Crocs` collections.

She told me is Crocs` latest collection and its a Crocs mobile phone pouch.

Cute? For ur phone to wear 1. =P

And it dont come cheap wo. We almost fainted when she told ur the price for that. It sell at RM65. Yea, freaking RM65 for a small shoe. @@

But then, we suddenly think of a brilliant idea where the lil shoe got a few usage lo beside using it as mobile phone pouch.

As you can see in the picture above, she also added those lil` accessories. The total for her lil pouch almost cost for RM 100 ++ as those accessories don`t come cheap either.

Conclusion, Crocs` products really expensive lo. x.x

Went to "tattoo"

There`s a street market help every last Sunday at the Upper Penang Road where theres alots of shops that sells variety of things. just like the 1 you get at the flea market at KL.

From selling foods and drinks to drawings to antiques to clothes. As we walked along, we saw this shop that do some "tattoing". Im tempted to do 1 but was kinda scared cause scared that my mum don`t like. Hehe.

But after i get my mum permission, we went on to choose the design and the lady start to draw the design on my hand.

Of cause, its not the real tattoo. Im scared if its a real 1 anyway. =P It was a henna drawing like those the Indians used to draw with.

The lady said, the design can last up to two weeks...and for this design, it cost Woofy RM20. Theres a variety of design to choose with and the starting prince start from RM 10 from normal red henna that last for 1 and half weeks and also with glitters cost RM30 last for 1 and half weeks too.

Hehe... I always thought that only human can show many funny funny 鬼马 face, but after a visit to Tesco's seafood department, I totally changed my mind.... Rupa-rupanya, fish also can show 鬼马 face 1... Keke...

And now, i wana start trading too....

Yes, I wanna start trading now, after hearing from Meowy about a story. It seems impossible, but it's true! Have you heard bout the story that start from one red paperclips and after much trading with one and another that the final product that this person recieved is a house?

Don`t believe me, don`t you? Very unlogical and untrue ya?

The main character in this story is Kyle MacDonald. He is a Canadian. One day, an idea popped out in his mind - trading his red paperclip with another person for a more valuable thing.

The first thing he got as a return from the trade is a fish-shaped pen. With the fish-shaped pen, he then traded in for a hand-sculpted doorknob. Of course, the hand-sculpted doorknob is not enough for him. Through another successful trade exchange, he got himself a Coleman camp stove, then a Honda generator through the trading exchange with the Coleman camp stove.

Here comes a series of incredible trades:

With the Honda generator, he traded for a "Instant Party" set that consists an emtpy keg, beer and a "Budweiser" neon sign. And the next thing - it might sound too good to be true - he traded the Instant Party set for a snowmobile! Isn't that abit too "kua cheong"?? Within a week after he got the snowmobile, he exchanged it for a trip to British Columbia. Even before he managed to plan for the trip, the second person to the trip had offered him something that the value is much higher - a cube van! How insane these people can be!

About a month after that, he traded in the cube van for a recording contract with Canada's Metal Works, and then traded it to Jody Grant, an American singer. In return, he got a year's free rent for Jody's place. Even before he move in to the place he rented, he traded in the one-year-rent for an afternoon with Alice Cooper, an American rock singer.

After that, he gave up the chance to meet Alice Cooper, and traded the chance to get a KISS-motorized snow globe.(!!!!) With the special snow globe, he got himself a chance for a role in the film Donna on Demand. ( Astro On Demand, i know laa )

Then there comes the final trade - he traded the movie role opportunity for a house. YES, HE GOT A HOUSE! Crazy as it seems, but it is dead true. If you don't believe it, google for yourself - one redpaperclip. If it's not convincing enough, this news was aired in CNN, ABC news, and BBC news as well.

You can also try trading today, but success or not, no gerenti-lah. Reminder, do not trade with your smelly stockings. No one will want it. Ha ha

Some hand-made art from China

Saw this exhibition at a shopping mall few weeks ago. Its an art exhibition from China.

They made this from clay. Very detail and yet so tiny. Cute eh? The starting price for some of the art are from RM100 above.

Believe it or not !!

No no, i ts not that Ripley`s show. Its just something so bizarre that happened infront of you that you found it still so unbelievable.

Last Monday which was the 19th of Nov was the birthday of one of the Chinese god, "Ji Gong". Then, one of my relative`s place was holding this "party" to celebrate this god`s birthday. Later, this relative of mine was "possessed" by this Ji Gong. In Cantonese, they called it as " Thiu Thong" or something like that.

This picture was taken during the Ninth Emperor`s Festival and this guy in the middle was possessed by Na Cha.

This relative of mine got this kinda "power" that gods can get in and out from his body. Using his body to so - called help people. People can ask the god any questions that he or she wanted to know and he or she will get a solution from the god.

At times, the god will give 4 numbers for the "viewers" to buy. For example, during the process, one of the god gave 4 numbers which appear as 7274 then, the next day, magnum came up 9274 as third prize. Although not exactly the same, but the last 3 digits are exactly the same as predicted.

Then another incident was, my mum wanted to ask about my grandpa`s health, my mum just tell the god the name of my grandpa and the god knew that my grandpa is 75 this year even before my mum told the god.

There are a few incidents more but to cut the story short, do you believe those things? Its still a mystery to me but as my relative says :

" Dont believe this kinda things too much. You believe it is ok, but not too much and obsess with it "

Advertisement

Advertisement played a major part in promoting a product. It carried message to the viewer or consumer about the product and how the advertiser carried out the message is very important.

Nowadays, we saw many colourful and interesting advertisements that capture our view. For example, beer or liquor company that want to promote their product, the advertiser use a very beautiful and sexy model.

Question: Hows the backdated advertisers advertise their product?

I came across to the coffee shop where they hung up not updated advertisement but rather, backdated advertisement. To me, its kind of funny to see them but i must say, they are kind of impressing.

Thats how the beer company promote their product. You don`t see any sexy girls in their bikini. Very straight to the point. Tiger anyone? =P


Backdated kind of cigarettes. They don`t have Salem, Dunhill, Marlboro or other brands of cigarettes that we have today. They have Torchlight brand and Gold Flake brand. Notice how the packaging like? Amazing right? There are some other cigarettes advertisement but din`t manage to take the pictures.

Remember this brand FnN? Its a company that produce soda drink which continued till now. You still have FnN but the advertisement? It changed to more interesting now if compare to the 1 above.

Seen this before?

Anyone out there seen this stuff before? Look carefully. If you think, its normal Panadol. Than you`re wrong.Let me tell you why.

In Malaysia, all we know that Panadol or Paracetamol came in tablets form but in other places like Hong Kong, they came in powder form AND they came with flavoring too. Surprised, eh?


This are the Panadol that my uncle bought back when he was holidaying in Hong Kong. Never seen this stuff over here before.

How to consume the Panadol? All you need it to drink it. Yeah, not swallow it. Easy peasy and the taste, very yummy too. Hee hee. I don`t know bout the taste but my grandpa told me that. =P

Open the packet of the Panadol.Then, pour them into the glass.


Pour in water.


And, viola...The drink`s ready to be consumed.
