Hahahaha...just came back from Bosco Wong`s small singing and autograph signing session...

Managed to shake hand with him as well...Awwww...I Love BOSCO!!!!!

He`s so cute and handsome...Update with picture soon...

And will go Queensbay tml for countdown and see Bosco again...hahaha..

My best present ever.....

I received my best Christmas present ever yesterday. At around 5:37 pm yesterday, i logged on to my uni`s website to view at my last semester result. I was trembling yesterday and the night before. Was so scared that i did not do well in my exam.

But when i saw my result, i couldn't believe my eyes. HAHAHA...!!!! I actually did quite well in it. I managed to score a A and a B for my major papers. WOW!!! Overall, i got 2 As and 2Bs in my exam. I really couldn't believe it. My parents were so happy when i told them my result and Woofy was happy for me too.

So, now, all I have to do is to focus on my last 4 papers as this will be my last semester before i start doing my intern. Can't wait.

My all time favorite is BACK!!!!

Woohoo....currently Astro channel 311 WLT is re-airing my all time favorite drama "Journey To The West (part 1)"

So happy...I`ve been watching the drama over and over again for countless of times and I even can remember their dialogue...Even my mum is annoyed with me..=P

I still remember the first time I watched the drama is when Im 13 and my dad even rent it for me to watch...Since then, I never failed to watched it whenever TV is showing the drama or my relatives` rent the drama...

And, guess what, my dad even bought the DVD set for me - a complete set with part 2...But i don`t like to watch the part2 cause I like Dicky Cheung who act The Monkey God in the 1st part more...He`s the reason i watch the drama...keke...Been a little fans of him since small...

Love the tag line of his ~~ Yo, watch drama, sai mat keng arrrr!!~~ HAHAHAHA...Crazy d me....=P

On a side note, I tried to make my own mashed potato after being inspired by DD. Hmmm, on my first attempt, i don`t think i did very well cause i did not use the mixer to mash the potatoes and resulted a not so smooth texture...

Will try to make the gravy tonite for dinner and will see how it goes...

Wah Lao.... Dare to drink this?

Not long ago, we went to a newly-opened hypermarket. Nothing special or unusual about the hypermarket, except something that caught our attention. At first, we thought we saw some big bottles of water color, until we had a shock when we looked closely - Awww My Gawd, it was actually CONCENTRATED FRUIT JUICE! Initially we can't really believe it because the color is WAYYYYY different from the usual ones. See for your ownself:

Feels so disgusted when we saw those water color concentrated fruit juice. For us, we will never try it even if it is given free to us. We don't want to risk our own health consuming those excessive coloring material. Bluuuuuuurrrrrrkkkk..... You dare to drink?

Mt Erksine Hainan Western Food

Last Friday, Meowy and I brought her mum and uncle for a western food dinner at Mount Erskine. We picked that place because of 2 reasons: First, the food there is nice. Secondly, her uncle wanted to try out the well-known western food there. Hehe…

We reached there at around 8.30pm, and as usual, the place is crowded - full with customers. But we were lucky and managed to get our seats as soon as we were there. Without letting our tummy to keep feeling hungry, we ordered our food. The waiting time is a bit long because there were many customers, but who cares when you know that you’re going to have some nice food? Hehe… Anyway, we ordered the following food:

Butter Garlic Fish

Black Pepper Steak

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Chicken Maryland

And we have nice drinks as well, the 契家婆 Kick-a-poo! Keke…

The food we had was nice, and it was considerably cheap as well, all for around RM40 including drinks. Worth, isn’t it? Hehe…

P/S: After that, we went to Batu Feringghi to look for some DVD movies, but all the stalls closed le… Muz be the MPPP punya pasal…. Sien… :(

Blueberry Cheese Tart

Few weeks ago, i got this urge to do some baking but for being a noob in bakery, i asked my mum to help me. After finding recipe that is much simpler, we headed to buy the ingredients.

A part of the ingredient : Cream cheese, blueberry jam, lemon, digestive biscuit, yogurt, and also gelatine (we use gelatine to replace egg cause i wanted to a eggless cheese tart )

This is the recipe that we used to make the cheese tart:

• Tart Base
  200g Digestive Biscuits (finely crushed)
  100g Melted Butter

Filling

• (A)
  250g Cream Cheese
  20g Sugar
  
• (B)
  20g Sugar
  30g Lemon Juice (about 1 Lemon)
  1 Lemon Zest Grated
  
• (C)
  1 1/2 tbsp Gelatine
  60g Water
  
• (D)
• 150g Whip Topping Cream (whipped) ~ instead of using whipping cream, we use yogurt

Method

Tart Base

1. Mix the biscuit base ingredients until well blended
   
2. Press onto bottom of your desired mould
   
3. Refrigerate while making the cream cheese filling

Filling

1. Cream (A) until light and smooth
   
2. Put (B) in a bowl and place over a double-boiler. Cook until light and fluffy while stirring constantly
   
3. Premix (C) and place over double-boiler. Stir until gelatine dissolves. Add it into (B) and mix until well combined. Leave to cool slightly. Add into (A) and mix until well blended
   
4. Fold in (D) and mix well
   
5. Pour it onto the prepared biscuit base
   
6. Refrigerate for 4 hours or till firm

The cheese mixture.

Pour the cheese mixture into the base.

End product....

As we have extra cheese mixture left, so we make it as blueberry cheesecake. =P

This is my first attempt on doing baking. Hehe. Not too bad for a 1st timer eh? =P

Laziness

My goodness...I`ve abandoned my blog for so long and being so lazy. I got many things that i wanted to blog about but lack of motivation.

Been so hooked up with Facebook lately and hanging around at home doing nothing. Sucha bad attitude. T____T

Anyway, will blog lesser this few weeks as final exam is just around the corner. Need to buck up and start my engine for the race. Haha..!!

Saw this cutie at an Indian shop near d Little India street at Penang. She is a pure breed Min Pin at just 2 months old. The owner have 3 little Min Pins where 2 are girls and d other 1 is a boy.

Learn from the owner that the puppies` mum died when she`s giving birth and there are still 2 unborn little babies inside her tummy which unable to see the light. So sad...T__T

So cute ler. Feel like want to kidnap her back. Hehe. But i guess, i will face difficulties communicating with her cause she only respond in Tamil. =.=

I`ve seen alot of blogs that looked so pretty and nice but mine? Looked so lame and boring. Dun like it. So, I wanted to change the layout of the blog ,but, I dunno how to use those HTML or those CSS thingy.

I tried to google "Help" but i dun understand. Urrghhh !!!!!

I`m so blured by those instructions. Can someone teach me the simple way?

Hmmm....I received this email from my cousin.

It read like this:

Coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5days). During this time the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days. It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 yrs . We ' re very lucky to see this.

Can this happened? We`ll see.

Big Apple Donuts

2 weeks back, we went to Gurney Plaza for a short window shopping session before Meowy go for her lecture class. As we walk to the lower ground floor, guess what? Big Apple Donuts has opened another outlet at Gurney Plaza! Whoah.... We're so excited as previously when we went to Jusco Bandar Perda, the outlet there was so darn crowded, and we didn't have a chance to buy some to try them out... So, without hesitation, we joined the queue and purchased 6 donuts which cost us RM12. The donuts looked so yummy...

Whoah... Loads of donuts... Lotsa flavors...

When we got back home, with much anticipation, we tried the donut. OH WELL.... So so nia... Maybe our expectations too high liau, hehe... Nothing is wrong with the donuts themselves, just that we anticipate more surprise from a donut that costs RM2.20... :P

BoBo`s day out...

We tried make it a habit to bring Bobo for an outing once a week mostly on weekend. For the purpose of exercise cuz she`s been gaining weight recently. Hehe.

Furthermore, Woofy needs his "daily" exercise too. Its fun outing especially for the lil` girl cuz she seldom go out and let alone run on the ground beside our home.

Once outside, she`s so curious over everything and start running here and there. Luckily, she`s well-behaved and did not wander off too far away from me as i did not put her on leash. So, basically, she ran by her own.

Rain...

Rain pours and drips from the eaves.

Lemme introduce you all to my uncle`s doggy - CoCo. She`s a MinPin like my doggy BoBo but she`s a mixture of MinPin and Chihuahua. Thus, a different look and cuter too.

Hungry Ghost Festival

This month is the month of Hungry Ghost in lunar calendar. Here in Penang, celebration for Hungry Ghost Festival is great, you can see lotsa temporary stages and tents being built all over the residential areas and town areas as well for the festival celebration.

The celebration of the festival usually lasts for 3 days, and some of them even longer, up to a week. During the first day, there will be a ceremony of inviting the God of Hungry Ghosts to the celebration venue. During the second day, foods and fruits will be presented to the God of Hungry Ghosts as a gesture to thank Him for taking care of the ghosts. After that, the foods and fruits will be distributed to all the members of the Hungry Ghost Festival celebration commitee of a particular group. At night time during the celebration period, a variety of activities and events will be held, such as prayers, singing competitions, concerts and many more. In the midnight of the last day of the celebration, a ceremony will be held to bid farewell to the God of Hungry Ghosts.

2 weeks back, we witnessed the ceremony of bidding farewell to the God of Hungry Ghosts at downtown. We reached there around 11pm, and we did the prayers before we headed to a mamak stall nearby for a teh tarik session while waiting for the farewell ceremony to start. Usually the ceremony will start at around 12 midnight, but on that day, the people in charge "enquiried" the God and obviously He doesn't want to leave. So, we have to wait until the God agree to leave. 1 thing about the God is, if He doesn't want to leave, no matter how many people carry the paper statue of the God together, they just won't suceed to move Him. But when He agrees, 4 men can carry Him easily! Weird but amazing, isn't it?

Finally, at around 1am, the God agreed to leave. There comes the ceremony! Pixies after the jump:

Ice cream or Gelato?

Suddenly, im craving for gelato.

Im sure most of you knows what is gelato but still,lemme tell you bits bout it. =P But im lazy to type its out, so i just quote it from wikipedia. Hehe

Gelato, or the plural Gelati, is Italian ice cream made from a liquid, milk or water; a solid, sugar, fats or sweeteners; flavorings, pastes, fruit powders; stabilizers, guar gum, locust bean, etc.; emulsifiers, mono- and digylcerides; and air. The process in which gelato is made varies on the ingredients used as it can be made using a hot process, which includes pasteurization or as a cold process which doesn't require pastuerization. Both processes require a gelato batch freezer, which makes the end product by mixing the ingredients and incorporating air. Like high-end ice cream, gelato generally has less than 55% air, resulting in a denser and more flavorful product.

In my opinion, it does taste nicer than normal ice cream and basedon the definition, it seems healthier to me. *yummmyummm*

Anyway, I had gelato at this outlet called Gelatissimo located at the Pavilion, KL during my visit in the begining of this year.

They do have a variety of choices to choose from and by just looking at those gelato, it makes me wana have they all. But it will cost me loads. =(

After sometime of testing those gelati, i made up my mind for 2 types of flavour but i`ve forgot what i chose. But believe me, its really really yummy.
